Disclaimer

Medicare Plan Exits is an independent information site. It is not affiliated with CMS, HHS, Medicare.gov, or any insurance company. It is not an insurance agency, and it does not sell insurance plans.

Not insurance advice

The information on this site is general information, not insurance advice or a recommendation to buy, drop, or keep any plan. We do not know your doctors, prescriptions, income, or health needs. A plan that looks affordable on this site can still be a poor fit for your situation.

No government endorsement

References to CMS, Medicare.gov, SHIP, or 1-800-MEDICARE are for information and links only. They do not imply review, approval, endorsement, or certification of this site or its data.

Data accuracy

We build the dataset from CMS files, but plan availability changes and CMS can revise a file. The 2027 crosswalk is plan-level and does not include 2027 county service areas. A plan marked continuing may still leave your county. A county flagged “no renewal” is derived and is not a CMS county availability finding. Confirm every plan detail with the plan or Medicare.gov before you enroll.

Data version 2026-10-24. Last updated October 24, 2026. See the methodology and limitations.

No plan recommendations

Plan tables are factual lists, not rankings. We do not accept payment from plans, carriers, agents, or lead buyers. A “continuing” label does not mean a plan is good, cheap, or right for you.

Medigap and guaranteed issue

Medigap guaranteed-issue rules are federal minimums. States can add rights or change timing. The dates on this site assume a plan ending December 31, 2026. Confirm your state’s rules with your state insurance department or SHIP before you apply for a Medigap policy.
